The Cult Sanguinius is the doctrines and beliefs of the Blood Angels Chapter and their successors. Through its ceremonies and rituals, the Blood Angels give homage to the emperor and their primarch,Sanguinius,for the sacrifices they have made for Humanity. Although in most space marine chapters,it falls to the chaplains to teach the chapters orthodoxy to the battle_brothers, this is not so with the Blood Angels. Due to that ancient and terrible flaw, the Chaplains of the Blood Angels are almost wholly occupied tending to those who have succumbed to the Black Rage and the Red Thirst.But it is their duty to use the wisdom of Sanguinius to seek out and care for those who have been gripped by the flaw. Chief among the Chaplains at this time is Lemartes, who has earned the title of Guardian of the Lost for his dedication to the well_being and guidence of those in the Death Company.
